I love the way you present these, the way they fade to white with the strength of the red leaves..... my cup of tea

Lovely. The composition in V1 works better for me, but I don't know why. Great colours and dof.

Two quite superb images Helen and after looking a few times at each, I still cant decide which one I prefer. I love the work you have done here and the way the strong colours fade into pastel. I also like the "look" along the wall. Two wonderful pics, and my decision, ..... I vote for them both.

I've been looking at these for ages and thinking, why didn't I think of that? But there are more leaves on mine, and I wouldn't want to fade any of them out. See, that's the problem, I don't seem to have the creative and artistic mind that you do. These both look wonderful, and the white suggests a cold and wintry day to me. I prefer the longer view of V2.

Halloween, and a different ''creepy'' upload here Helen !! Like the colours and the ''high key'' effect.
Good work.

Pamela I took these at a very sharp angle in order to get a feeling of going on and on into the distance. So to me fading added to the feeling of perspective and distance. I've used the same treatment for the next two that I will be uploading, but they were not taken at the same sharp angle, so they maybe will not work so well.

V2 is my pic....I think because the emphasis is on the higher leaf which makes the lower really appear to be falling.
