From the old to the new

By helenlinda
We now have the keys to the new Nursery SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile
I am putting together photos to show the journey From the old to the new which will be framed and displayed on the stairway.
This little sequence were taken from the same direction at different times over the past two years, though it was not possible to take them from the same spot.
v1 Taken when the Nursery was emptied and all ready for demolition
v2 After the concrete was removed and the ground levelled.
v3 The sections were slotted into place - reminding me of building a house with cards
v4 Moving closer and slightly to the left
v5 Moving a few steps forward - work at the back of the building starts to take shape
v6 The doors are up, the carpet and floors are laid and we were standing inside the building.
An amazing feeling to be on the same spot that I taught in for 7 years SmileSmileSmile

Hello photo neighbour. A great piece of reportage and one that should be framed and placed somewhere in the building. Photographically V5 appeals to me most for those fabulous reflections.

It's good to keep a series of shots from the same viewpoint, documenting progress. I can even see those same railings through the glass in the final image. Lovely set.

A little story, from beginning to end, nicely recorded. But I did like the paintings on the original outsideSad.
