Goodness me - I wish I were half that fit now!
This is a delightful triptych. The proportions of the three elements are just about perfect; the 'negative space' above the chap's head is essential, though I can't quite decide why. He faces inwards or toward the camera, suggesting a man entirely in his own world except for the viewer, intimately complicit - imagine the difference if you had posted the outer pictures the other way round!
Beautifully presented; utterly compelling.

I'm feeling guilty now, seeing this old guy skating and clearly darned good at it too! Just love this. It tells it's own story. So beauitfully composed and presented.

I could never get to grips with skating when I were a lad - I always fell over! Being very prone to breaking bones, I abandoned the idea... A great candid and capture, Helen, you never usually see us old 'uns skating! Very well presented, too, like it.
