Its over there

By helenlinda
I've been in Essex this week looking after my grandsons while Joy was on a course. We had a couple of very sunny mornings, and so I took Timothy to the park after walking Samuel to school. My daughter is quite firm about no photos on the internet of her children, but you can't tell who this child is, so I feel OK about uploading it. Thanks for clicks and comments on Doing a Little Twirl yesterday- they were much appreciated. Hope you have a great weekend

It's a problem taking photos of kids I have hundreds of good images of my kids and now my grand kids but can't use them on the Internet.
Anyway I like your image with strog shadow.
Regards John.

Superb shadows integrated into an excellent composition, Helen. The turned-away face, sun-hat and above all the pointing finger make this the epitome of a child's summer in the park, with scarcely a blade of grass in sight!

P.S.: Not umbrella-holder but taxi-driver today. Except that the location makes an excellent cup of coffee so I might just bide a while Smile

It's a challenge, avoiding faces, and a challenge can bring out our best. This is one of the few circumstances when hats can assist photography! Delightful image.

It was a lovely sunny day on Thursday indeed. Strong shadows and diagonals, Helen. I like the way all the elements of the image fit in the composition... so well balanced.

A super Saturday shadow Helen. How sad is it hat we feel we can't upload some innocent images of our grandchildren.
I don't put many of my grandchildren but my daughter puts plenty on Facebook and with all the information people
give out there surely an Ephotozine image is safe.
