My Blue Period

By helenlinda
The packers come today and so my daughter and grandsons will be ousted from the house, and tomorrow they move. SadSadSad
The Nursery has also be packed up and this is all that remains of the fence that held the gate.SadSad

But there are silver linings
..............I get my daughter and her lovely family all day and overnight SmileSmile
.............and eventually I will get some pictures of the demolition and re-build of the Nursery SmileSmile

But for now some Nursery photos with blue as the theme
I've never uploaded a letterbox picture before and I am just wondering if it will get ignored, shouted down or whatever ................so I will watch this space SmileSmile
Helen

The letterbox presentation works very well, Helen, love the different shades of blue you have captured here. Carol

I like a letterbox crop. It cuts out lots of extraneous details and concentrates on the subject, in this case, blue.

I hope the future will be as bright as the past.
This photo really works, and expresses the nostalgia.

A good blue theme going on here Helen.
(I hope my daughter is not feeling blue today.
She starts her first day as a primary school teacher !!)

Looks good to me, Helen. Did you manage to get that glass door out of your daughter's house?

LOL...so funny...'cos before reading your descrip, I thought, "Oooh...great letterbox crop!" I kid you not. Those were the EXACT words in my head. Then when I read the end of your write-up, I was like, "Nnnoooooo..." GrinGrinGrin

As always, you have a very unique eye and once again it translates into a wonderful shot.

By the way, I love your positive spin on things with the silver linings Smile

I love it Helen; to my eye, it's three totally different images put together and the fact they are different sizes works really well for me - having read Andrew's comments, couldn't agree more! Smile
