Pots

By helenlinda
This was taken on the morning of the flooding in B'ham. We went to look at summer houses and all I liked was pots!!
If it falls through the floor I will pick up the pieces and take a photo of it..........following Mick's advice. If not I will uploadsome more!!
Thanks for looking
Have a lovely weekend.
We have a wedding tomorrow and hopefully the weather will hold for it

V2 for me, cleaner and more abstract. This is dynamic, lines pulling and pushing against each other, none of the angles exactly where you expect them. Please leave it up, whatever happens.

Both are really good, Helen. As with yesterday's I prefer the version that conceals something, a touch of mystery that I detect in V2. It is an excellent study in form and texture, austere without being extreme.

You have a really good eye for an abstract, Helen, lines in all directions and good tones, V2 for me.

Helen ,I fear this is in grave danger of falling through the floor !!!
What super ''weight'' to the images. Good strong, powerful lines give the impression of a tremendous weight in the pots. They look like marble which adds to the ''weight''.I just hope it is a strong floor to hold them up !!!
A pair of heavyweight images.
Nice ones.
Mick.
Two good images but I prefer version 2, it seems more dynamic.

Both good images. V1 showing a bit more of the context, v2 becoming a powerful abstract. Nicely photographed showing the details well.
