Shield bugs

Yesterday Richard and I picked 5 pounds of raspeberries from the garden and I made jam with them. He found a pair of green shield bugs on a leaf and I took a few photos of them - and then added a bit of drama Smile

I love shield bugs, such interesting little critters. I really enjoy the drama you've added here. Gives them an alien feel and a sense that they are much bigger than they really are. Love the tones too.

I really do like the work you've done on this one - excellent image. That bit of brighter light on the right is particularly pleasing and effective. I have to add that I admire your ability to spend time doing this - when I get older Tongue and more patient, and can't get around as much, I will get into Photoshop creations - promise.
