Speckled Wood

By helenlinda
Working in the garden Tony noticed this butterfly. A very patient variety - as I had time to fetch my camera, set up the tripod and take several shots while it was resting on the raspberry leaves. First time I've done a blurred layer and then brought back some of the leaves. I've probably brought back more than most peole would, but I do like the fading and patches of detail on the leaves- the butterfly is quite pleasing too !!!!
Thanks for looking.
I had a go at the new voting yesterday. I am not particularlu enamoured with it. The votes went down at certain stages, but I have no idea why. So I'm no better off.
Thanks for looking
Helen

Pretty, and nicely frame by the out of focus leaves.
I had one go with the new system then ditched it. I just didn't like the "feel" of it and I'd never mark anyone down anyway.

The new system of voting allows for sneakiness
If people want to take a vote off I have no trouble But I wouls like to know why
Perhaps it would help me improve my work ?

Fine processing and a most pleasing result - the variation in clarity/contrast works well - for a superior image.

I like what you have done and the butterfly is well placed in the frame.
But the butterfly is not the true colour though.
I have reduced the blue to give it the correct brown colouring.
