Swan by the bridge

By helenlinda
Many thanks to Nick Parry for his GEA for the first of my fairy goblet uploads. I have to say that my mouth dropped and remained in that position for some time when I saw it!!
I'd like to express my grateful thanks for those of you who either humour me or genuinely encourage me to keep developing my ideas. I'm not quite sure how I have developed with my photography skills, but I have so loved the opportunity in the past year to work on my processing skills. I would have given up a long while ago without the support that I have had here.

This image is a combination of a swan that I saw in Thrapston and a very small tunnel in a brook in my local park.
Thanks for looking
Helen

This has a dream-like intensity, quite outstanding. The only niggle I have is over the hard line running down the right-hand side, cutting off the side of the eliptical frame around the swan. It just jars a bit for me. But then dreams are full of unexpected, illogical jolts and this is about the dreaming process for me.

Good work again Helen.
And it shows you how much I know.
I thought the hard line here was a fishing line, until Moira put me straight !!

Oo Helen, don't know how I missed this one. Nice dreamy feel again, but I would agree with the comments about the line down the right hand side. Good one though.
