That's it then - I'm not waiting any longer !!!

How infuriating can some children get.
He just would not come out.

Taken at our school camera club this evening. We do a lot of our activities in the playground - gives me a few more opportunities for my already well worked playground.
Many thanks for C& C yesterday for Left out in the rain . Particular thanks to TrevBatWCC for his User Award - very much appreciated Trev.
Many thanks too for the many good wishes for Tony's operation - all went well, and he came back last evening - a very good experience of the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Got to get into the kitchen now to cook flapjack - its my birthday this weekend and flapjack will be expected at school tomorrow !!

Well you know what W.C. Fields said Wink. What a great example of infuriating children! I think you should have saved this shot for Silly Sunday (or have you something better up your sleeve?).

What is flapjack - well you haven't lived if you haven't tasted flapjack Jenn. If my memory serves me correctly though you cannot buy the most important ingredient in the States - namely golden syrup. Maybe different now, but maple syrup is not the same and does not produce the same consistency. Basically you probably term it a cookie - butter, brown sugar, golden syrup, oats. Sooooooooo simple to make and I've just cooked five trays full.
So much for cookery - thanks for your comments everyone

Ha ha. A good catch which tells the story of the title nicely! I can just imagine how the adult feels.

I too found school work very exhausting Helen,so I cannot blame the little soul for getting his feet up !!
And do you have time to make flapjacks? After all,you have Tony to care for now that he is home from the hospital. The poor man needs to get his feet up too !!

The poor man is free to put his feet up all day while I'm at work Mick - but if I'm really kind I will save him a flapjack- as it is his favourite cake !!
