Threatening

By helenlinda
New Nursery - new opportunities.
Last night we had our first Governor's meeting in the new building. As I crossed the playground the sky was getting darker and darker, but the sun was shining on the chimney, and casting a shadow that I have never seen vertically before. It would have been a horizontal shadow on the flat roof of the old Nursery previously. I have increased the contrast slightly and straightened the vertical lines - but the colours are as they were
Many thanks for clicks and comments yesterday and in particular to Ray for his much appreciated UA
Thanks for looking
Helen

Just shows how much attention we should pay to shadows when buying a house.
This shadow does look quite ominous. However I'm sure it won't affect the Nursery.

You make it sound like a rite of passage, Helen Grin and the lighting makes an interesting presage ..... or is that being a bit potty TongueTongue

Looks a bit like the sky did around here last night. And of course, just before I set off out to go to the quiz night at the local club, it started raining! SadSad
Works well in this shot though, Helen, contrasting very nicely with the golden sunlight Smile
