Time Ran Out

By helenlinda
This morning my next door neighbour collapsed outside his front door on the way back from shopping. In spite of CPR by a neighbour and from the paramedics his heart did not get going again. He has lost a lot of weight over the past year, and looked so small and shrivelled as they took him away. I just wanted to put something up to mark his passing. We will miss him.
RIP John.

I like the placement of your horizon. It has an ambivalence, it suggests a cup half empty/ cup half full interpretation. We need to keep hopes up or we would all just pack it in...

I am sorry to read this, but consider--- He had neighbors to wave to, etc till the last, and a home to return to, (no bed somewhere forgotten)
Hugs to you Helen!
A really beautiful image, I'm sure he'd have been very touched and was no doubt happy to have such a caring neighbour.
