Orcas- at the bottom of my garden!

By HelenMarie
I waited and walked backwards and forwards along the headland for 3 hours to catch sight of this pod of orcas. I had heard they were slowly making their way around the coast to the bay where I live. I couldn't believe it when they swam right up to where I was standing - I actually couldn't take photos at one point because they were so close; I could have reached down and touched them!

I took hundreds of photos - many of just fins but plenty that were not Smile

Life can be Lovely images you will treasure. These clever giants attack big shark as well as seals. If they learn what we dump into the oceans, we could be next. Hope we smarten up soon. TG

I think you must rent the bottom of your garden for us mere mortals with a camera when the migration starts...
