On Frozen Pond 1

By Heliopause
I got up at 6am one very cold (-7C) day last week in the dark and drove to a nearby pond thinking to myself that I must be mad. The pond had frozen so I bravely/stupidly went out onto the ice to capture this shot and others. I could hear the ice cracking at points but as the sun rose I forgot all about where was and what the time was, so I was eventually late for work. But hey, I think it was worth it...

It was worth it indeed - those circles look great on the ice - well spotted and well captured.

You can always blame being last on the snow!

Typo - meant:

Of course it was worth it (unless you're a double chocolate fudge cake taster) Superb shapes and colour. Dave
