Northumberland Colour,Texture and beautiful empty beaches

By HenB
Northumberland beaches have long been a well kept secret from most of the more southerly inhabitants of our country, but are now finding how beautiful it is. I must have met at least 3 people along this beach north of Bamburgh yesterday and as you can see it is crowded. Excuse my well meant sarcasm !!!.. Truth is they are probably the best beaches in England and when the sun shines are possibly in the world. I loved this colourful outcrop of rock with the tidal patterns around it which would have shown better had the sun been lower. Thanks for all the good comments on yesterdays upload and to those who voted for it. Hope you like todays with Holy island just visible in distance.
Regards Harry
