Many thanks for the comments. I'm kind of glad the general reaction was favourable because I wasn't sure if it was 'too different'. The Guinness can was chosen not only for the joke (it's the least likely alcoholic drink to be drunk through a cocktail straw) but also it's strong graphic design to stand out against the white.

I love this image but there is one thing that made go err, is the guiness added after as the straw loop seems to go inside the can, didn't think the lip was that deep. But thats my only gripe with it otherwise fantastic!!!!!!!

Thanks to all for the comments. I've been completely 'bowled over' by the reaction and comments. I just had a crazy idea and it's pleasing that people liked it; I thought it was way too bizarre for people to like. If anyone in the South West wants to consider booking Amy to model for them I can pass on details if you wish (commercial over).
Thanks to all those who have freely given of their help and advice since I joined EPZ as a complete beginner a few years ago. This week has been probably the most amazing of my life photographically, with a number of major things happening all in the same week.
I think the moral of the story is keep doing your own thing, keep learning, keep trying, and keep looking and listening to the help that is out there in the EPZ and other photographic communities.

yes yes YES!!!! This is a bloody GREAT picture. How amazing do all the colours compliment eachother???? TOTALLY!!! This is a winner of a shot and Guiness, or their marketing people,need to be SHOWN this photo. Right, gonna go and grab a nice cold beer now for the time being HAH!
