I've just got back from spending some time in West Bengal in rural India. My first love probably is travel photography. So just wondered what people thought of the black and white treatment. Please view large.
The three people are well arranged, their expressions are interesting and the conversion to BW is well done. I think maybe just a touch more background above the man's head would fit them into the frame a little better.
Edit: I can imagine this looking good in colour too.

this is a good one. A very good one. A bit less at the bottom and a bit more on top might indeed improve it a bit, but a pleasure to look at it as is. Love how they are positioned stage-wise in the frame. Looking forward to more. The b&w conversion looks very good btw

What Dave and Koen said with regard to needing a little more space on top. Otherwise it's a wonderful image. I'd be thrilled if it were mine. Go on, put up the colour as a variation please. :-)

The arrangement of the subjects is good and so it the toning. Lovely in black and white. My first reaction was that the subjects needed to be lowered in the frame to allow for more space at the top as well.
