I like V1 a lot because of the great detail of the plumage.
Is it a good singer this bird?
26 Sep 2013 4:30AM
Beautiful bird shots first one is better.
That bird is giving you the evil eye, Herman.

And, after Jeff's explanation cricket is now perfectly clear. Unfortunately clear is see right through with nothing to see.

Morning Herman, overcast and miserable here today....Olive thrushes are pretty birds, havent seen a Loquat tree for years...nice captures

Beautiful bird. Here they eat a lot of loquats, they are considered THE fruit salad fruit. This little chap likes them too. We have a loquat tree growing inside the porch, our neighbour planted it and it is like Topsy it just grew and grew and I fear for its future.

Gorgeous bird Herman! They are not the sharpest if shots but great given the camera shyness if this beauty. Please don't send and of its relatives to Spain. I value the fruit from our Loquat tree!

Hi Herman this bird looks in shape and size like our Blackbirds, and Thrushes but different in colour. Two great shots though. Last night on our news on the TV was an article that the poachers in Zimbabwi, have resorted to putting poison in the watering holes that the Elephants are using, hence killing many and quickly to get the tusks. problem been other animals are also been killed.
