Almost there Henry. Its best to manually focus on the eyeball, otherwise auto focus will lock onto the lashes which are higher contrast.

Good effort though.

You could have used ISO 400 allowing you to set f/11 for greater depth of field (though it'll still be small) to cover the eyeball and eyelashes, with no real impact on image quality.
Just make sure yoursubject doesn't blink Smile
