Thank you for the above comments and advice. I did not notice the fact that I included the area within the window in my selection, it is so obvious now it has been pointed out to me. I have uploaded the colour version as a modification.

Thanks to everyone for their comments and advice, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I really like the pano crop Dudler, thanks for that. The image may be over sharpened alright. I usually get comments that my images are soft which is why after resizing I sharpened it some more.

Thanks to everyone for their help and assistance as always. I like both mods, the crop made by Moira works much better and the brightness in the Erik's mod is also a definite improvement.

Thanks for the comments and very good advice and help, I really appreciate it and I think the square crop works well, much better than my original. The frame also adds to the image too.

Thanks very much for your comments. I really appreciate all the advice and assistance. I did notice beforehand the blue tone in the snow and is good to know now how to fix that. I can now see the halo effect spotted by Eric. Is there any particular adjustment in Raw processing which causes that i.e. contrast or clarity? I agree with Paul and wish there had been a subject to include in the scene.

    Hi Ronnie,

Thank you for leaving a comment on my photo today and I am glad you did as aside from your valuable advice, it has given me a chance to view your wonderful portfolio. As a beginner I will in future be referring to your shots for inspiration, they are really amazing.
