Shame you cut off the tops of the ears and the chin, but otherwise a super shot. Well done.

The crop's a bit tight and it looks a bit dark but your timing is spot-on so the photo works well. A curves adjustment will brighten a little and you can get nearly infinite amounts of practise at photographing your own cats. Smile (A lens hood is useful to avoid nose-marks on your lens!)

Yes Dave a lens hood could be good thingSmile I've two cats and they have a tendancy to come towards the lens!

I have 2 cats myself one is on my photos she 16 years old...
I think you got the better cat for photo's..
Teeth are an advantage...
