EDITING PHOTOS ON THE IPAD OR IPAD-PRO

By hobbo
I really enjoy using my iPad-pro fir all kinds of projects, but usually edit all if my photographs in Photoshop CS6 on my Sony Vaio laptop connected to a large monitor.

Recently I discovered PIXELMATOR.....and....PIXELMATOR PHOTO apps for the iPad....I can import, then edit my RAW photos.

Here I present the results of an edit done entirely in PIXELMATOR.... from ...mono conversion...targeted tonal adjustments ...targeted sharpening...then a great tool to adjust focus....

I am more than pleased with the result.

Before and after included here...

The colour version is by far the the better one. Tke bokeh is good
I would suggest that the right eye as viewed on the screen( subeject left eye) is far too dark and requires some work to lighten it up
That is my thoughts on the image.

In my opinion the result is very nice. Of course the issue with the eye would be better to be solved before capturing. I think it's a very beautiful portrait in both versions!

Hi, Richard,

Thank you for your observation.........I like the....Film-Noir.....touch to my mono portraiture.....it adds drama and mystery.......the eye was in shadow in the original image.
