LUNNS TOWER Kenilworth Castle

I live very close to Kenilworth Castle and I find it very difficult to avoid the usual Touristy snap of all the main features that are to be found on all English Heritage publicity anyway:

The other day I caught a glimps of this.......LUNNS TOWER.....in bright sunshine after heavy rain....the tower is a masterpeice of Medieval Defensive Archtecure with its arrow slots and wide battered base:

Sadly English heritage choose to place a telegraph pole and its wire very close by....I got rid of the wires but not the pole:

Well I suppose we have to count our blessings! at least it's not a wind turbine and could almost be part of a tree!, well it was once lol. and I can ignore it and look at a splendid castle instead,regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
