SHINY SHINY SHIMMY

This small but very shiny fly was buzzing around our Bay Tree at around dusk yesterday, because it was cooler the fly posed quite happily.

Full side on is the best way to get good overall focus in macro shots because of the very shallow depth of field....obvious here when you look at the OOF nearer leg.

Shot using my DIY Flash Diffuser/Reflector with my favourite settings.
