The Barrow Man

By Hoffy
This gentleman was in charge of the barrow at the pit, I am not sure what they call the pit, someone more knowlegble than me would tell you, but its where they got the dross out of the bottom of the boiler.
Anyway this man was covered in soot and dust and there I was just standing there taking pictures and everytime he finished he disappeared and came back with a Canon Mark 3. Took some pics and then went again.
Just thought it was so amusing.
Great to watch these two works as a team though.
Hope you enjoy and thankyou all for you continued surport

Paul

A real powerful image Paul and he looks the type you don't want to argue with.

I really like this and especially the background. I might have triend to make the two men a bit bigger in PS, but with the same background. So they appeared to be closer.

A very strong image with stunning atmosphere. i think i would've cropped out the gate which would have put the workers more over to the left rather than smack bang in the middle But that's only my opinion A great shot

Nice lead-ins with the pit and the tracks combined. Like the atmosphere and the gritty feel of it.
Happy to be #30.

Great picture. You can tell from the thumbnail that there's a story in there.
