Yep. Red kite. I have a thing about these and was well chuffed when I visited the place myself at easter and had the chance to shoot this one so close. I do believe it's one that has been published in amateur photography thanks to one C Sturry. Never heard of them myself Wink

Very well captured with great detail all over. I think the feathers on the back of the head and neck are some of the best features, so am glad you have taken a nice wide crop on this one to include the best bits Smile

Dunno if you captured it at all, but when I was there at easter they had a rather gorgeous Ferringuous (spelt badly wrong no doubt!!) Buzzard that took up a lot of my camera time. I found the Red kite always to be in the shade of a rather large bush when I was there (all day!) which spoilt it a little for me.
