I was lucky enough to get a ticket to go and watch the men's quarters on Wednesday. Brilliant day. The subject was one of the group I was with for the day.

It was an involving match (Nadal v Soderling) but I'm more keen to see what you think of this kind of processing. Different from my normal thing.

Thanks for looking.

P.S.Top tip. Take a teleconverter if on full-frame. Really could have done with a 2x!

I like the processing, nice use of dof. I'm not sure about the distortion of the crowd, I think I would have preferred to see the crowd recognisable as people. If this were mine, I would have deleted it because of the distraction to the right.

Like your comp and the DOF in this.

Fair point Martin - I kept the distraction on the right in (arm with wristband) as it had the vague resemblance of the St George's Cross! Seriously. In my mind anyway. And the crowd in the b/g...miles away. I quite like the solitary face in a sea of bokeh. Cheers for taking the time though.
Might be bold and upload a tennis shot. Maybe.
