I would describe myself as an enthusiast photographer, mainly interested in landscape photography, particularly mountains and seascapes but also nature in general. I spend a lot of my time in the outdoors and I also enjoy taking images of wildlife. My home base is near Frankfurt in Germany but I also spend quite a bit of time in my original home country which is the UK. For the last 3 years I've been using a compact system camera which I like because it is not too much effort to carry all the kit on long hikes and I am more than satisfied with the image quality versus the compact digital zoom camera I used to use.
