Buachaile Etive +4000

By hsreid
Taken from a hang glider at 4000' above the summit of Buachaile Ettive Mhor. It was the sun glinting on the river in Glen Etive that attracted me to the shot. I personally like the softness produced by the low level haze.

sounds like an amazing experience? I've never taken a photo whilst hanging off anything, never mind at +4000.! wow.

The sparky river really makes it.

It's very grainey but very good for all that . The fact that you were up there shows that you may well be mad. The picture tells another story.
All the best Stewart and welcome to this large community.

Love climbing mountains, so don't mind the height. But this is something else. To do it is bad enough but to take photos at the same time? Madness! Makes a great shot though.

I'd have clicked even if you'd taken it with your feet on the ground. Serious respect!
