The hint of light on the central foreground rock is so attractive. A lovely image. I'm afraid I don't know anything about HDR so can't comment.

HDR is usually done with more than 2 images, - at least 5, and is not normally used for moving subjects, such as water.
This is still quite nice, though it has some digital noise in the dark areas. This can be removed with Noise Ninja or another similar programme.
