Where did all our Medieval architecture go? These cities and towns in France have been preserved nd are cherished, don't say that we can learn nothing from them.

I agree with what you say about our lack of old buildings. I once objected at a local meeting about the prposed demolition of old an old building, and was told by the planning officer "but thats progress".

Oh this takes me back... Somewhere I've got my own (pre-digital) photos of this corner. Lovely, lovely place, and it's alive not a museum-piece.
Well recorded, and nicely timeless in mono.

I couldn't agree with you more! We have strongholds and churches but precious little else. I just adored Vannes for many reasons; this is one of them. Even in mono it looks organic - I think you have brought this out extremely well.
