Clipstone Colliery

Its been a long while since i posted any photos. this image is Clipstone Colliery stocks that still remain after the mine was finally closed in April 2003. and are one of the tallest in Europe. my father in law spent most of his working life down this mine and is enjoying retirement at his ripe old age of 89. i dedicate this image to him as he is an inspirationGrinGrin

I love historic buildings like this one - so sad to see it closed and in need of repair. A fine shot, a fitting tribute to your father-in-law, and thank you for letting us all see it.
