Lillies

By hunter031072
some lilies i bought for my wife's birthday the flowers started to open up and they smell beautiful, i just could not help my self i had to try and take some pics.

i used 2 studio flash lights with light defuser boxes and a flash gun on the camera with a light defuser to get the studio flashes to fire off. in the first image i photo stacked and the second image is of a single image i do hope you like these.

thank you all for past votes and commentsGrinGrinGrinGrin.

A very well observed, composed, exposed and captured pair of floral images with beautiful colour and fine detail throughout..

This is why I am reluctant to do macros. I wouldn't get anywhere near the detail what you have achieved in V1 with my crappy kit lensSad. Both images make nice flower pics, so well done!WinkGrinGrinGrinGrin

I not being funny Ryan but i was using kit lens the crappy Sony 18-55 lens, manual setting, manual focus with image stacking, but what gave me the ability to get the detail is trying. you are very good at landscapes and shots of birds on branches. but you dont seem to try new things. i love trying new things and one day i will find something i am good at but in the meanwhile i am trying and loving it......TongueGrinSmileGrin

BlushBlushBlushps i forgot the studio flash lights did the trick with regards to the detail gives me the ability to shoot at 50 ISO f-stop 18 i am able to light the subject evenly.Grin

you know you can borrow the lights any time or use the studio room, the lights pack away in to a duffle bag.WinkWinkGrin

It isn't about me not wanting to try new things but using flashes, diffusers and reflectors etc I haven't got the patience and I have to be in the mood. You are quite passionate about indoor stuff whereas I like being outdoors and my photography hobby is an extension of that. That is why my 90% of my pf will always be a wildlife or a landscape image because that is what I am passionate about.
