I've been taking photographs both in 35mm and medium format using a Pentax 6x7ll for about 18 years. I appreciate all forms of photography but my passion is landscape and nature photography which I practice at every opportunity in the Higlands of Scotland. I hope you enjoy some of my work.

The Green House by hwatt
Really glad you noticed and enjoy the asymmetric windows it is that which originally caught my attention, as such I wanted to make it completely and totally 2 dimensional like a child’s painting / drawing so I found a position plane parallel to it gable end on and used a long lens to ensure all sides were rectilinear.- 28 May 2023 6:16PM

Above it all by rontear
Hmmm I like this a lot Ron. A now you see it now you don’t image, without that window of light on the colossal rock face it would be a relatively ordinary, with it it becomes extraordinary.- 14 Jul 2022 8:08PM

Posted on: Fabulous Firework Photo Wins Photo Of The Week
It's superb. Lovely colours and a gorgeous sky. Just wondered were the fireworks added after the bridge became illuminated as there doesn't seem to be any reflections from the fireworks?- 23 Oct 2017 11:30PM

Posted on: Pentax become second victim of European legislation
I don't suppose Pentax would care to dispose of a pentax 67 II my way. I use one presently and exclusively and have no intention of placing mine in a landfill. Looks like I will be forced to go digital.- 27 Mar 2006 2:18PM
