  • Daff!

You said that you do not know why the image is blurry. there are two answers first was mentioned you need a tripod to stabilize the camera.
the second reason is you are closer than the cameras minimum focusing distance. no mater what you do if you are too close your camera will not focus correctly. Move the camera away from the subject and zoom in. also Try using your macro setting on your camera if you are not already. other than that you can add macro lenses to your camera if they are made for your model.

    hope it helps.

Thank you for posting shot settings,

I think that the entire hub from left to right should be in focus, right now the left is starting to blur. using a smaller aperture would allow the entire hub to be in focus. an even smaller aperture and the spokes on the left could be in focus, but you may need to use a tripod.

as for composition I would change location a bit to change the reflection to be more identifiable as another car. possibly showing the wheel.

  • Close up Hover fly

I like the fact that you have a good depth of field for the picture to show all of the fly and most of flower in focus.

posting shot settings could also help with a critique.

I agree with Somnathchatterjee that some of the photo needed to be cropped, I uploaded a mod that moved the fly away from centre and allows room for the fly to move into the picture.

it would be nice to see what the man is painting within the Photo, would moving to the artist left side achieve this?

I agree with Catherine that the background is over cluttered.

  • Pre Wedding shoot

I like this photo but over all it is very dark, looking at the Histogram that I get it is packed up all the way to the left. indicating it is improperly exposed.

I also feel that this picture should be more about the couple and therefore should fill the picture more. i uploaded a mod to show how a different crop can still show the atmosphere of the junkyard while showing off the couple more.

as for posing I do not like the mans right hand placement it looks like it is coming out of nowhere putting it behind his back or showing more of his arm would be better imo.

    Welcome to EPZ,

    I like Bills comments,

to add I think that you should move a bit to your left to square up with the gate and be in the centre. this will help with making the gate look level and bars perpendicular.

yes i agree it was good timing for the picture.

when I first looked at the picture I asked "why is he so happy?" i did not know why until i read the caption, adding something to explain why or changing the background could give atmosphere and help explain why he is happy.
