Dairy Air

By IamDora
As the French would say.
(Silly Sunday on Monday)
So here's why a herd of cows is heading down the switchbacks I showed you two posts ago,
V1: Most of the cow went into the new pasture but one cow didn't. The two guys weren't paying attention.
V2: So when one cow started down the switchback, the others joined her.
V3: Nothing I could do about it. I was too busy grabbing photos
V4: The last guy gave up chasing them
V5: And the two who should have been paying attention are having an “Oh Sh**” moment.
If you have stopped believing in miracles, how a look at this one that happened in Canada over Easter.

In real life I thought they look a little ribby which is likely why they were changing pasture.

Great uplifting story told in the link. A lucky wee lad, & well done the search parties.

My brother lived in that area in Ontario, in a house by a lake - I visited a few times, happy memories.

On my trek for scouts when I was a boy we camped in a farmer's field (pre-arranged) so he sent us out to move his cows through a gate into another field. They wouldn't budge. We had to return to him and admit failure so the poor, tired, kind hearted man had to go and do it himself.

The images with your narrative are so good Dora! To round off V5 has a sign saying Smile God loves you on his little trailer!

The link to the little boy, what a story. Miracles can happen and his family must be overjoyed.

Take care.

God might love them but the guys chasing the cows weren't giving them any love. Yes, I just had to share that story, Three days in the woods with temperatures below zero and with bears and likely big cats in that part of Canada. Adults die up there when lost in the forest, For a three year old not only surviving but is in good condition is almost impossible. I was so happy for the grandfather. The guilt he must have been carrying.

Fabulous set Dora. I went the back way home after visiting my uncle in Lancaster. Fortunately I saw the cows being herded down the road and stopped just before the entrance to the farm yard. When you’re sitting in a car the cows are HUGE so I got out to talk to the farmer. Most cows took themselves into the farmyard but a few chanced their luck and tried to explore the hedge across the road or even further down the road. Luckily the farmer further down the road had already got his cows inside for milking. Phew! We don’t see this in London!

What an amazing story about the 3yr who survived for so long outside on his own.

I got caught once in a similar situation with a farmer herding his cows in for milking but I was driving a convertible with the roof down. That was interesting!
