Heavenly light

I took these images 2yrs ago today around 5pm. The golden glow on St. Mark’s Basilica was stunning. It was a pure natural glow. The square was crowded. I chose this for the lead as I really like the young lady in the mask and couple looking my way. There are also a couple of other women snapping away on their phones. A pigeon also wanted to be in the shot. The beauty of Venice! The architecture of the basilica is truly amazing. Everywhere you look there is another fascinating feature.

Thank you so much for the votes and comments on my magnolia image. I really do appreciate them. Thanks Willie for you mod. I’m grateful you’re pointing me in the right direction.

I like v4 because the building is more upright - not leaning or slanted. It's a lBasilica and the light is gorgeous.
(the couple looking at you could be a photo within a photo. I had a go at it. He may be concerned you may be someone his wife has hired - lol)

Nice, especially the first. That Seagull wont be happy being called a Pigeon!!

I uploaded a mod with some more shadow detail on the foreground people.

Thanks for your mod Dora. The guy is looking right into the camera isn’t he!!!! Well done you for seeing the photo within the photo. It worked extremely well especially in mono too. You’ve inspired me to try that with the young lady in the mask.
