I recently started selling stock photos - just for a bit of fun, but it is surprising how easy and addictive it can be!

Quote:In my opinion, although it is a great image as it stands, it's actually spoilt by the burnout caused by the sun, whichreally draws the eye
The colours, orange clouds and tree line are all great!
If it were my image I would crop off the top to just below the sun, and crop off half of the grass, making it into a panoramic landscape (ie letterbox format) without the sun flare

Funny you should say that.....I do have another version where I've done exactly that - It's my current Facebook cover pic, and you are right, losing the sun gives more focus to the rest of the image. I'll upload the other version tomorrow.

Typical. I spend an hour or so working on an image of a single tree near Malham, and within half an hour of posting it you come along with this cracker and blow mine off the page!

    Happy 3000th.

Thanks Digby, but if truth be known this was the only decent one out of about 100 attempts at several fps!

Thank you Gareth. Yes, I found it strange that it didn't get as many votes as other pics I'd put up around the same time.....never mind!

Can't chose between the two - both versions look great.

I agree.....lose the frame effect - the photo stands up for itself!
