This young male Bearded Reedling should have "Peach" coloured Irises (and Females a more "yellow" Iris)........so to see this "black" (OK it's more dark red/brown

) Iris coloured Male was quite a lucky find!
Not sure how rare this is? (i've seen a photo of a female bearded Reedling with a dark Iris, taken in Lancashire), but it's always great to see unusual thing's in nature.
Taken at Oare nature reserve (Faversham, Kent)
