Agapanthus #5

By ian walker
well i said no more agapanthuseseseses the other day.

but i could not resist another go, thought i would go for something a littel different (for me) and light a flower from behind with a lightbox.

think its not worked to badly, but i would love to hear your thoughts - good and bad.

thanks for looking

have a nice day

Ian

I think this works very well -- beautiful and delicate, simple yet elegant. Lovely presentation too.

Beautiful image! But maybe the frame (particularly the inside one) is a bit too strong??

thanks for the comments.

Afyfe, it was lit from behind with a lightbox that you use for viewing transparencys on, and i experimentde with white card and on camera flash to light the flower from the front as i was worried about the flower being a silhouette.

Gemm, i will try the frame in a colour closer to the petals. i think your right its perhaps a bit to harsh.
