Good shot, hope you enjoy the camera. I've had mine for a week now & now I've got the parameters set correctly I'm very happy, took me 3 hours of very unfocused shots to find out what was wrong.

Great shot, Ian. I envy you - youre a week or a few weeks ahead of me (Im also saving up for a 20D, and Im almost there...). Now all you need is an e2 membership to show off your pics in 1000 pix size... Wink

Nice lighting and composition, personally I would have cloned out the mark on the leaf.

conrad, best thing i ever bought (took alot of saving and persuasion on my part to convince myself i should spend the cash).

Got it on friday and already would not be parted from it - you will enjoy it

This works well. Why ? The sweeping lines of the leaves and stems, the use of only two colours, clean white background, and the fact that no two flower heads are in a line vertically or horizontally. Click.
