Sorry I am no longer uploading to EPZ. I would like to thank those who genuinely followed my work, but I no longer feel the enthusiasm for EPZ as I once did and therefore have taken the decision to leave the community. I am not sure whether this will be permanent, it seems that way at the moment, but I will not delete my portfolio incase you wish to contact me or to see my latest work visit my WEBSITE or FLICKR .

Many thanks,

Ian

  • The Boats

Lovely morning glow well captured Smile. Similar to Ken's comment, but I think the reflection is integral to the composition so I would sacrifice the top part of the sky so it just about mirrors the reflection. As for it being central I don't see this as an issue as it still has the impact and I think reflections suit this look. Each to their own hey Wink

  • Cottage by the bridge

A lovely capture and worthy of the GEA. You're almost right about the waterfall, but there is a spot above the falls that leads itself to a good photo framing the waterfall with the autumn colours. I prefer to get down below, but it is treacherous on wet days.

  • On't Moors

Lovely FG interest and the right amount of retained detail in the flowing water. Just a little nit-pick, but I would rotate the image slightly to the right - I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the bridge at the top. Smile

Nice composition and detail. I think the clear sky enhances the frosty landscape and brings in a little colour. If it was cloudy you would have lost that element. Well captured Wink
