Cockshaw to Roseberry

By IanBurton
Taken from on top of Cockshaw Hill above Gribdale Gate looking towards the iconic Roseberry Topping.

It's been a long time since I've uploaded here (Nigh on 10 months) as I decided to take a sabbatical and concentrate on my photography without influence. In that time I have managed to successfully get my work exhibited, made a go of my website and even held a couple of workshops - so it has been a very busy year thus far and no sign of letting up Wink

Anyway back to this image. This was taken last weekend, I decided to visit my fave location at this time of year to see how the heather was looking. Although I never quite got the light I was hoping for the sky made up for it, I quite like how the colours compliment the FG.

Hopefully I'll get round to uploading more often.

Have a good weekend, I'm off to the Lake District for a long weekend break.

Any comments welcome.

I think the without influence mentality works, pleased you've had a successful year Ian.
The rich colours of the heather and sky work well, congrats on the EC
