Fire In The Sky

By IanBurton
On Sunday the alarm clock sounds at 4.30am, I hit snooze, look out of window and see no break in the sky. 30 mins later alarm clock sounds again, I check out of window again and see a sliver of the pre-dawn halo. I knew the forecast was for blustery wind and rain, but it seemed ok so for once I took a chance and slid out of a warm bed and headed to Saltburn.

When I arrived the clouds started to colour, all I can say is the pre-dawn colours were amazing and I've not witnessed many sunrises like this for a long while. More so because I like my bed Wink

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Ian.
