I don't often get down here, probably because it's often busy with other togs, but decided to head out for a sunrise shoot back in April. I arrived as the tide was starting to head back out and standing on the edge of the breakwater I managed to keep a few other togs out of the composition. One guy turned to me and said the light wasn't very good, not sure what he was talking about as I thought is was very pleasing - ok the sky wasn't full of vivid colour Wink

This shot took a few goes to get right, I was trying to capture the right amount of water flowing over the rocks in the FG whilst maintaining the texture. Best viewed LARGE

Curious as been here a few times and never seen a soul.....and one of those times was the best sunrise I have ever seen. Fine work here, a good shutter speed and the light is just enough so not overwhelming the image. A slight correction needed to level the horizon though Wink

You have mastered the art of shooting into the sun , yet holding it back without any burn out in the image. Lovely pastel colours .
