I don't normally create images with B+W in mind, but I thought it would work best with this kind of composition. Taken back in March when the winds were quite strong, here I was sat in a dune to try and keep the camera & tripod steady. I still had to shoot at a high ISO to maintain sharpness, especially with a 70-200 lens on.

Great shot and followed the link to flickr which shows this shot at its best. B&W does suit it perfectly and I like the gulls battling against the wind.
