Sunset at Dunstanburgh Castle

By IanBurton
Hi everyone,

This is a rework of one that exists in my PF. Since I don't have any filters at present I decided to use two shots with an exposure for the sky and FG. Using the masking technique I brushed in a more muted tone in the sky and used the dodging tool in the FG to emphasise the colour of the rocks. I think I'm starting to understand the use of layers and processing in PS.

Please take time to compare with my original and let me know your opinion.

Thanks for looking,
