Another from Havana, Cuba.
The building may be decaying but some of the pre 1959 Revolution US cars are in amazing condition.
Anybody know the model, bit like a large Ford Prefect.?
My wife and I sat for well over an hour waiting for things to go by. She (maybe) got the best capture.
Thanks for looking

Motion blur is not ideal for car identification, but my Other Half, who knows about these things agrees that it's a similar shape to a Ford Prefect, 1940s / early '50s, but thinks it looks quite a bit bigger.
Havana is on my wish-list, but more for the sake of what lies behind the car...

Great colours! Not hard to tell how superb those buildings once must have looked.

I agree with mrswhoolybills husband in previous photo comment, the car looks like a Ford Prefect
The photo does justice to the Havana colourful unmaintained old buildings
American Embargo still hurts the country
Regards Brian

I reckon that's a Ford Pilot.

It was related to the Prefect/Popular/Anglia series but was bigger and came with a (hopelessly underpowered) V8 engine.

We put one through the timing lights at Santa Pod once, many, many years ago. It took so long to get from one end to the other and arrived so slowly that the lights couldn't work out what was going on.

This one looks to have been fitted with some fancy wheels and tyres. A custom of some kind perhaps?
