The Sligachan is a wonderful place for photographers, you've fond a fine foreground here Ian and the view across the mountains is nicely accented by the pink afterglow.

I'm coming in late on this but the wait was well worth it as I view it on my new 1080p HD monitor. Let me tell you, Ian, it looks absolutely stunning from front to back. The sharpness looks perfect and the detail is amazing. I can count every stone and pebble in that tide pool. Congratulations on your well deserved award.

Eric

Breathtaking image Ian, congratulations on the award, well deserved (and well overdue !!!).
Just about to leave for an early morning visit to my usual haunt on the essex coast, I'll be very happy to come back with anything half as good as this one.

One for this weeks shortlist as well Ian (although I don't seem to be able to do this just now for some reason!!). Perfectly composed for that foreground, the superb movement and sheen on the water and on to the mountains. Marvellous image, and fully desrving of the GEA.
