    Ryback - This was shot using a 28mm lens at a relatively slow shutter (1/30) using the 'on-the-camera' flash set at 1/4 power. The rider was picked-up on the appraoch to the jump and the focus fixed on the subject by partially depressing the shutter release. Continue following the rider through the jump by panning the camera at the same speed as the rider. Fully depress the shutter when the rider reaches the top of the arc and as long as the flash power is correct (very easy to overexpose with lots of power in the flash) and the panning speed is correct you should be able to freeze the subject in the motion blurred background.
